Linking in with our Family Service at 11am, we have three children’s groups catering for all ages from 0 -11 years old. We also run a parent & toddler group and a monthly family night. We are involved in local primary schools and hold special events throughout the year.

Cre`che – for babies & toddlers 0 – 2½ years old
Open from around 10.30am to 12.30pm on a Sunday, our cre`che provides a safe yet stimulating environment for babies and toddlers up to 2½ years old, so parents can attend the Family Service. This facility is staffed by well-trained and experienced volunteers who love caring for little ones.

The Ark – for 2½ years – school year 1
After attending the first part of the Family Service, children between the ages 2½ years and school year 1 can join this fun group. We provide a safe and fun environment in which to teach children the basic principles of the Christian faith, using stories, craft activities, games and singing.

Wildside – for school years 2 – 6
Following the first part of the Family Service in the church itself, children in school years 2 – 6 can join their friends in the Wildside group. We teach them about the Christian faith, using a mixture of activities and small group work.

Our Parent & toddler group takes place on Friday mornings between 10.00am- 11.30am, at the church. With a very informal, relaxed atmosphere, it’s a great place for mums and dads, grandparents, childminders and carers to meet new people and build a supportive network – after all, raising a young family can sometimes be exhausting and isolating, so it can be a great comfort to have a like-minded friend or two to chat to.

Little ones can play freely with our collection of toys and games, and take part in activities such as craft, singing and puppets. Refreshments are available for attendees of all ages. Find out about our special events and parenting lunches on Facebook. For more details call the church office on 01255 679585 or email us

Child Protection
To ensure the safety of all children, young people and vulnerable adults at the church, we adhere to the strict guidelines laid down by the Churches Child Protection Advisory Service, CCPAS. This means that everyone who comes into contact with these groups is a church member, and DBS checked to Enhanced Level.
