When & where does the church meet?
The church meets every Sunday at 9am, 11am, 5.30pm and 7.00pm for our Sunday Services. It helps to get there 10 minutes early to get a parking spot and seat in time for the service to start.

We meet at the church at the bottom of the main avenue in Frinton.contact-the-free

The address is:

Frinton Free Church
Connaught Avenue
Frinton-on-sea

There is limited parking available on the site, but plenty of parking available in the Avenue and near the Greensward.

What should I expect when I visit the church?

You will receive a very warm welcome particularly from our Welcome Team who will be able to answer your questions and direct you to where you need to go. Our service times are as follows:-

9.00am

This service is for people who prefer a more traditional or contemplative style of worship, and includes hymns or songs, prayers and a sermon. The service itself usually lasts for about an hour. This service does not include our children or youth facilities, so if you have a young family you might prefer to consider the 11.00am service.

11.00am

This service is designed with families in mind. This all-age service with a contemporary feel is led by our worship band with varied programme of songs, prayer and a sermon. This service usually lasts for about an hour and a half.

Children of all ages join us for the first part of our service and then leave for their own ‘FreeKidz’ activities, where they’ll be looked after until the end of the service – and of course visitors’ children are always welcome to join in the fun. FreeYouth is for young people who are doing life together, finding some answers to life’s tough questions while also having fun and making new friends!

5.30pm

This is our Café Style service held in Oasis. Coffee, tea and cake with a short Biblical talk followed by questions and conversation. This service usually lasts one hour.

7.00pm

The 7th Hour service is the least structured with emphasis on interaction and discussion. This service usually lasts just over an hour.

Oasis Cafe

You are welcome to join us in our Oasis Cafe between our 9.00am and 11.00am services and and for our Café Style service at 5.30pm.

What happens to the kids at church?

We have a fantastic programme of activities for children aged 0-11 called ‘FreeKidz’. Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship (sing songs!) together for the first part of the morning. Someone will announce when the children need to go to their programmes.

For more information about what happens in the children's work please visit the relevant age groups for you under church life.

Is there a dress code?
No! Please just be yourself and come dressed in your 'normal' clothes.

Will I have to join in?

Not at all!

You are free to simply observe or participate as much as feels comfortable for you.
